GUSTAV LÜBKER

When 4Power needed a more native, polished mobile experience, I designed and built an iOS app from the ground up using SwiftUI. The app follows Apple's Human Interface Guidelines with a clean, modern UI, and gives users full control over all 4Power devices. It features seamless Bluetooth onboarding, over-the-air firmware updates, scheduling, and push notifications.

A handheld game console I designed and built from scratch, running on a Radxa Rock 5C with a custom software interface written in Flutter. The hardware, PCB, and 3D printed casing were all made personally, alongside several built-in games.

My second macOS app, DockFix, is a dock replacement for macOS. It offers tons of customizability and additional features beyond the native macOS dock, allowing users to personalize their system further and take advantage of its enhanced capabilities. Since its launch, DockFix has gained immense popularity with hundreds of devoted users.

At ABB, I was tasked with designing and developing an app for ABB's talent program. The app includes a timeline of all events and details of the program, managed by the leaders, as well as social media–style communication and posts between participants.

For 4Power, I was tasked with redesigning and developing a new website to manage and control their Electricity Saver devices. The platform included smart features that allowed users to automate device control based on a variety of conditions, including weather temperatures, real-time electricity prices, and the time of day.

I've also developed the 4Power SPA Control website and mobile app for controlling their 4Power SPA devices with smart energy saving functions. Similarly to the 4Power Portal, I developed the website in React and used Flutter and SwiftUI to develop the mobile app containing a web view.

During high school, I created a website for my school’s library as part of a Service As Action project. The site featured a homepage where the librarian could share updates, post events, and upload photos for students and parents to view. Additionally, I developed a form that allowed students to sign up for quiet reading sessions, which automatically sent email notifications to teachers for verification.

This is a commercial website I developed for a watchmaker to manage and organize his watch calibers and spare parts. The platform allows him to efficiently filter and match compatible components. The entire website was built using PHP with a MySQL database and styled with TailwindCSS.

Your go-to tool for effortlessly and quickly organizing code snippets is our app. CodeSnippy was developed with passion to make sure your snippets are always accessible and ready to increase productivity. We know you love to copy and paste, so we've made it easy and quick for you to access and use your snippets with our user-friendly interface and wide language support, enabling you to code more efficiently.

In late 2024, I was commissioned by Temp-Tech, a company specializing in cooling systems and heat pumps, to redesign their website. The project involved creating a modern, user-friendly design and integrating additional functionalities, such as multi-language support, to enhance the user experience and align with their needs.

In 2023, as my first official project at ABB, I developed ZeroHero, a game-like simulation app used to train new interns by demonstrating the complexity of managing an energy grid manually. The simulation involved controlling the timing and output of various resources like heat pumps, biomass systems, and electric boilers while minimizing costs. With a built-in leaderboard, it offers a practical, fun, and challenging real-world simulation of energy management.
